❤️ Smarty ❤️
17 y/o AQHA papered mare, Smarty (Ahh Wanna Be Smart out of Smart Peppy Playboy & DP Wanna Be Spotted). Consistent 3D/4D but can be 1D/2D with the right rider & conditioning. Capable of running 15's & she LOVES poles & runs 22-25's. She has brought my daughter home more blue ribbons than I can count. Able to sit for a few months in the heat of summer & still bring home first place at the next show.... (read more) She self-loads into the trailer, stands politely for the farrier & bathing, & is barefoot with zero maintenance. Boss mare in my herd of another mare & gelding. Stands quietly at the trailer or waiting for her turn to run. Zero buck, spook, kick, bite, or rear. For transparency, I recently received some papers from a previous owner that show a history of rearing, but we have not experienced that at all. Her only quirk is that she can get hot at the gate, but it really depends on the situation & many different factors. Sometimes she needs to be led in, sometimes she doesn't. She does has a previous tendon injury that occured many many years ago before I ever purchased her, but she has never been lame or sore a day in our lives. She has produced one foal with no issues. Smarty is fast, fancy, & has ALL the buttons. She requires an experienced & handy rider. She is not beginner-safe or a lesson horse & I would not put your hubby or granny on her. She knows her job & loves her job! She has been sitting since our last show in February & my teenage daughter has gotten out of riding, so Smarty will need to be legged up again, but it does not take her long at all & she is happy to be put to work. She has done an amazing job taking care of my daughter for the past 3 years & it is time for her to take care of someone else. Videos available upon request. She will be up-to-date on everything prior to sale.
