Additional Comments

Linda has spent most of her career as a ranch sorting & team penning mare with over $10k in earnings. She takes her job very seriously and LOVES to work a cow. She is fast, has a huge motor, and will go all day.
Linda is also happy to go down the trail packing saddle bags, ride bareback in a halter, and has even swam around bareback in the lake. She’s been ridden down the trail by handy kids and in the dark without a fuss.
I’ve loped her through the barrel pattern a handful of times and she took to it super naturally.... (read more) I’ve roped a few calves off of her as well. I feel that she’d make an amazing youth rodeo horse.
She has the prettiest head, is easy to keep fat and is the shiniest horse in the barn. She gets compliments on her looks and behavior all the time, including from her vet and equine dentist. She is perfectly behaved for her farrier.
She comes up to greet me in the field and loves attention. She has a playful personality and enjoys being around people.
Linda is best suited for an experienced rider who appreciates a big motor and buttons. She has never offered to buck, rear, bolt, or do anything silly, but she is too much horse for a beginner.
The only reason I am putting feelers out for her is because I’m just not as focused on sorting as much as I have been on riding younger, green horses. It seems like a waste to let a horse that likes to work so much sit in the field. She doesn't have to go, and I want to make sure it’s a good fit.
