The price is negotiable for the perfect home.

Shark has been a rockstar at our adaptive camp, carrying people with a variety of physical and cognitive abilities. He's been a part of the herd and actively in programming for over 5 years. Before he came to us, he had been an Amish horse and before that a pacer. He has been driven with a small cart, but that was before 2024.

Shark's previous career ended due to a partially paralyzed epiglottis from a racing accident.... (read more) Other than sounding like he's snoring while he's awake and occasionally receiving daily over-the-counter allergy medicine, Shark's injury doesn't affect him. He regularly carried campers through obstacles and trails. Now he's looking for a place with pasture to help keep his weight up since being taken off hay by the vet. Because of a lack of teeth, he gets his grain soaked and can have hay in small amounts. He's not a choke risk, but rather he's using too many calories chewing all the time with the teeth he has left, says the vet.

We unfortunately don't have the pasture access he needs. Our hope is to find him a great home that will give him many years to come! Shark has worked hard and earned this next phase of life. His price is negotiable for the prefect home.

Morgan's Camp

Morgan’s Camp is an Ultra-Accessible™ camp for everyone with a particular emphasis on giving people with physical and developmental disabilities an opportunity to enjoy summer-camp-type activities alongside guests without special needs. Our program has a herd of horses specially trained for their camper's safety regardless of the amount of support someone might need to ride. We offer adaptive horseback riding and activities that provide a safe experience for all to participate.... (read more) We do not breed horses. 1 in 5 horses generally make it into program fully, so sometimes we are needing to rehome a horse that just isn't meant for adaptive camp life. We are always on the lookout for the right horse as well as the right homes for horses that are ready to leave the program.
