Everyone wanted this guy when I posted him before but no one would actually take him because he was still a stud... Well.. Bruno is now a gelding! **My personal opinion is he looks better in person than these pictures.
He was gelded awhile ago, and he's really got gentle. He still needs to put on some weight, but he's on alfalfa, he's been dewormed and he's really come around. When I bought this colt a few months ago he was one of the poorest and skinniest 2 year olds I've ever seen!... (read more) His coat is really starting to look healthy and truly, from a few months ago... He doesn't even look like the same dude.
This is a Percheron/crossbred colt. We don't know he is crossed with, so no point asking, we can't message previous owners and ask....etc.
He is a coming 2 year old and is 14.1 hands tall now, we think he is going to be a big guy, he is big boned and has big feet!
He's friendly, leads well, loads, ties. His tail and mane were loaded with burrs, we wondered if we would ever get them all out, but we did!
We bought him very thin and homely looking, he's starting to fill out, he has been dewormed and has a huge appetite! He's been on grain and good hay and alfalfa.
His fault will be that he has a small umbilical hernia.
**He is priced at what I have in him, I'd like to see him get a good home and someone give him a chance to be a solid citizen!
Draft colts bring 100's to 1000's more than this at New Holland and everywhere I go.

We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
