I purchased Casper as a very smooth gaited trail horse. He prefers to be a show horse. I am 77 yrs old and need a calm ride. Unfortunately he is often startled on the road and trail: blowing leaves, old logs, farm machinery etc.... (read more) He has calmed down in the last 5 months since I bought him but is not mellow enough for me. He has never reared or bucked but cannot seem to relax on the trail. He has wonderful manners in the stall and while tied to be tacked up. He readily walks up to children and adults to receive love. He really deserves to be shown again and as stated has an excellent lineage.
