Additional Comments

Exceptional mind, proven ranch/performance pedigree, and a thoughtful start.

Zeus is an **own grandson of AQHA Hall of Fame stallion Sun Frost** and features the proven bloodlines of **Sun Frost, Peppy San Badger, Two Eyed Red Buck, and Doc Bar**. He is AQHA registered (#6246397), NAERIC Advantage registered (#68021), and APHA eligible due to his white markings.

Above everything else, Zeus is **kind**. He genuinely loves people, seeks out attention, and is usually the first horse to meet you at the gate.... (read more)
Zeus has been thoughtfully started under saddle and is walking, steering, stopping, trail riding, and beginning arena work. He has been ridden by youth ages 7, 11, and 16, attended the Clinton County Fair with 4-H for the past two years, been shown in hand by a 15-year-old, and worked over poles and basic obstacles.

He recently completed a **two-day trip to Otter Creek (NY)**, where he crossed creeks and bridges, navigated mud and steep hills, led and followed, walked/trotted/loped on the trail, carried saddlebags, and stood tied quietly in a stand stall overnight. He settled into the unfamiliar environment and routine without issue.

Zeus is an exciting prospect for **ranch, ranch versatility, trail, 4-H, all-around, or barrels**. He is still a young, green horse and is being represented as a prospect—not a finished children's horse.

He is microchipped, current on vaccinations and Coggins, and sound with no soundness maintenance requirements. His wolf teeth were removed and teeth floated in spring 2026. A full blood panel was also completed, and he is maintained on Vitamin E supplementation based on those results.

Zeus has a small scar near his right eye from an injury as a foal. It is cosmetic and does not affect his vision or performance.

If still available this fall, Zeus is scheduled for 30 days of professional training and his price will increase as his education progresses.
