LATE NIGHT BANDIT
"Butch" is a 3-year-old, 14.3hh, blue roan gelding. Butch has been in our program since he was a yearling, and all of his training has been done by myself. I acquired Butch in a trade for halter-breaking a group of yearlings, and he was my pick out of all of them due to his willing attitude, conformation, and pretty gaits. From day one, he has been incredibly quiet, gentle, and easy to get along with. Butch is extremely fancy broke, he is finished and has been shown in ranch riding and is very easy for any age rider to maneuver.... (read more) Butch has seen lots of miles on the trail as well. He is sure-footed and confident in difficult terrain, he will go up, down, or across anything you point him at without hesitation. Though Butch is just 3, he already has a ton of experience in the show ring, working cattle, trail riding, or just being loved on by little kids, and he is always down for anything I ask of him.
Butch also knows the Clinton Anderson groundwork very well, is hobble-trained, and will ground tie wherever you leave him. He is excellent for bathing, trailering, farrier, and the vet. Butch is 100% sound with a clean vet exam on file, he does not require shoes or any maintenance.
