Renaissance WCF "Raina" is a beautiful 2026 Pinto Warmblood x Friesian filly (Barock Pinto) who is papered with the Barock Pinto Studbook in the Netherlands. This filly is a full sibling (and carbon copy!) to 2025 filly "Patagonia WCF" (Placed to North Carolina USA as a jumper - Photos attached) and is following in her sisters shoes of having an incredible sport future ahead of her. She is conformationally correct with incredible movement and incredible mannerism. She is always the first to strongly demanded scratches when you enter the field and follow you around. Her personality is soft and kind but she does have some spice in her too. I think she is best suited for a sport home, though in the right hands she could be an all around mount too. Raina could excel in jumping or dressage. Her sister sold to a jumper home and though is only a yearling, shes showing promise to be competitive in a jumping discipline. I believe the same is true for Raina. She really is a carbon copy of her sister!
Raina is halter broke and loads in the trailer. She will have her first couple trims before she is weaned and be started on tying before moving to her new pasture. She will be inspected in September by the dutch judges and be up to date on worming. Raina does carry the tobiano gene despite not having any spots. It just shows as minimal through her tall stockings. Genetically she must have a tobiano gene as her dad is homozygous.
Barock Pinto is a fairly new registry (17 years) originating in the Netherlands and is primarily made up of a Pinto Warmblood crossed with a Friesian, though some other breeds are accepted as mixes. Raina could be eligible for FHH or some Warmblood registries as well if someone desired.
About the parents:
Sempatico M is one of the most well known pinto Warmblood stallions in North America and needs little introduction to those familiar with the Warmblood world! He was the National Champion ZfDP as a foal and is by approved Oldenburg pinto stallion Semper. His Grandsire, Sandro, was a Holsteiner stallion who also sired the famous stallions Sandro Hit and Sandro Song and has 36 approved sons, 308 approved mares and 27 states premium mares.
Semper's dam, Imago, is an Elite Preferent rated KWPN mare. Sempatico’s damsire, Samber, is the world's most influential and successful pinto Warmblood of all time. His damline also includes VPrSt Indian Dream, who is a Verband Premium mare by the Dutch stallion Ico who is by the KWPN Keur Preferent Trakehner stallion Marco Polo.
Her dam Lara’s sire, Doaitsen 420 Sport, passed away in 2021. He was the 2009 KFPS World Reserve Champion in the Netherlands and has sired 4 approved KFPS stallions, an impressive accomplishment in itself. Additionally, Doaitsen was the only stallion to win the US Equestrian Federation Friesian Sire of the Year Award 4 years in a row! Lara’s dam was a ster mare by the popular Tsjerk 328, who carries some of the highest confirmation breeding values to date. Tsjerk left behind 6 approved sons and 4 approved grandsons before his passing in 2011.
Lara herself has been ridden to Level 2 dressage and has been my preferred mount since she joined our family from eastern Ontario in 2021. She is willing, uncomplicated and naturally excels in lateral movements and canter. Lara was inspected with the Barock Pinto Studbook as well and received a second premie ster.
Wandering Creek Farms has a broke friesian mare, 3 Barock Pinto foals of varying friesian percentages available this year as well as one GVHS colt. Inquiries welcome on all. Experienced shippers.
