Thor is a coming 13-year-old gelding looking for his next home.

He stands tied, loads, hauls, and handles all the basics a good broke horse should do with ease. He is broke & easy to be around.

He was used as a youth barrel horse for 4 years, but we ultimately chose to step him off the pattern as he became inconsistent at the first barrel. With the right rider, someone patient and willing to work through that, he may still have potential to revisit barrels or other speed events, or could easily go to enjoy a more relaxed job.... He could also happily step into a quieter life on a ranch, checking fences, going for easy rides, and just being dependable.
He is very gentle and willing, and he wants to learn. He crosses water, has been used to sort cattle (he wasn’t overly fond of it but handled it), and can be ridden bareback or saddled. He’s the type you can just hop on and go enjoy a ride.
