I purchased this mare to use as an embryo transfer candidate. A breeding soundness exam was done, and she was prepared for breeding this spring. The old mare I was going to transfer embryos from, passed on before I could do the transfer.

Wonderful mare. Easy to handle with just a halter and lead rope. Stall or turn out. Stands tied. Walks into my trailer. She falls mid in the pecking order of WB mares. She’s easy to catch, I pull her out if the dry lot and turn her out on grass for a few hours every day because she is one of the few in my herd who respects any type of fencing- electric or not.... (read more) I never have to I have to go looking for her, she comes to me. Loves people, very careful around children, she follows them like a puppy dog.

I have no bad things to say about this mare. I lost my favorite broodmare this spring and am losing interest in breeding. May consider trade for lowline cow/heifer or a few bred meat goat nannies.
