Polly is a 4 year old, 15.1hh draft/paint cross mare. Polly has quickly become loved in the barn for her sweet personality and good nature. She had done a ton of trail riding in her previous home and is quiet and dependable trail riding alone or with company. She’ll go through anything in her path without question: streams, fallen tree’s, rough terrain. She’s comfortable, sure footed, and not at all a spooky type. Polly is green to arena work but has the same steady nature riding in the ring.... (read more) She’s quiet WTC with three comfortable, nicely balanced gaits. She’s light in a simple snaffle and is quiet but not lazy. She goes along nicely without begging, but is always happy to slow down. She’s been ridden bareback, bridle less, and both western and english.  She’s just being introduced to some small fences out in the XC field and is incredibly willing. She does the bank, ditch, and water all without an issue and seems like she’ll learn the jumping job quickly. In the barn Polly is sweet, polite, and easy to have around. She’s quiet and easy for all the things on the ground. Bathes, clips, loads easily, and has been perfect for the vet and farrier. She’s currently in front shoes, but could also go barefoot. She’s happy living out 24/7 with buddies or good in the stall. She’s an easy keeper, with no vices or history of health/soundness issues. In West Rupert, VT. More info at visit our website
