Bella is an 18-year-old, 14.2hh Paint mare with a lot of life experience and an even bigger personality. ❤️

Bella was raised as a barrel racing horse and had an impressive career doing it before transitioning into a trail horse. She has been used primarily for trail riding with me and is an absolute pleasure to have out. She is quiet, trustworthy, and not spooky on the trails, and she is incredibly easy to ride.

Bella is also a very intelligent girl and knows a bunch of fun tricks.... (read more) She is the kind of horse who is always paying attention and wants to interact with her person.

She is definitely a beginner-safe horse and would be a wonderful choice for a child, young rider, or adult looking for a trustworthy companion. She has the experience and temperament that make her easy to enjoy without needing an advanced rider.

At this point, however, Bella is looking for a companion home or a home where she will be used for light riding, particularly with a child or young adult. Her veterinarian has recommended keeping her workload light. She is not currently in pain, and she continues to run, play, and enjoy herself in her paddock, but her limitations are something a prospective home should understand and take seriously.

Bella has been a very special horse to have and deserves a home where she can be loved, spoiled, and enjoyed for the wonderful mare she is.
