CRF Cookin with Derby is a gypsy x quarter horse colt. He is bay with black points and also carries a pearl gene making him soft and silky. Derby is out of our stallion, San Cler Pearl Wishbone and Cookin with Fuel. San Cler bloodlines of Nero, Ivory, Old Pat, Old Jim. Dam is Shining Spark and Cooke County Texas blood. Chesnut Ridge Farm

Chesnut Ridge Farm is located in the heart of Lancaster County. We breed and raise Gypsy Vanners. We also at times offer Gypsy crosses. Chesnut Ridge offers a handful of foals each year. We enjoy handling our foals and exposing them to life scenarios from birth, ending in a well rounded horse. We occasionally offer lightly started young horses. Chesnut Ridge is home to our stallion, San Cler Pearl Wishbone and Brochi Farms Tuxedo.... (read more) Our senior stallion, Pearl Wishbone is a heavy producer of the pearl gene so many of his offspring carry a pearl gene. Pearl Wishbone is athletic and gentle and loves a good ride. We have several broodmares and horses of all ages. All of our older horses including the broodmares, are trained to ride. We work as a family, do some off our own training, and provide our own hay. Our horses have daily turnout on the 80 acres here. We love what we do and do our best to ensure you purchase a properly handled equine.
