14 year old Standardbred gelding. Raced as a 2 and 3 year old. I got him as a 4 year old. Have been using natural horsemanship type training with him. Prefers to trot over pace. Done loads of groundwork with him. He is a nice steady horse with a calm disposition. Great in park around dogs, bikes, etc. Goes in a rope halter. Due to my own health issues, he just does not have many miles on him. So he is NOT for a beginner - he should be considered a green horse.... (read more) He is a big strong boy, broader than aveage standardbreds. I have ridden him bareback and in a western style saddle. He goes with just his rope halter and is very light. Easy keeper. He gets his hay weighed and fed in slow feed hay nets. Currently wears a muzzle when on pasture. He has a custom built Synergist Saddle that is available to go with him for a price. Up to date on teeth and vaccines. Price Negotiable to the right home.
