Absolute tank of a horse! Beautiful curly hair and fur.
He was broke two years ago. I did a mustang competition with him at the Kentucky horse park where we competed in the Rolex stadium. He was around hundreds of horses and people, golf carts, bikes, vehicles etc and never batted an eye. We also went to some local horse shows where he did fabulously and even placed in the ribbons!

Last year he was off due to ulcers after switching from alfalfa to grass hay..... (read more) which in turn made him hard to catch as he did NOT like the medication 2x a day.
He needs restarted.
I have started doing so recently. We have done about a month of ground work refreshing- to which he remembered.
Tying, lunging, flexing, backing up, picking up front feet (we are a little unsure still on the hinds. He always was more slow with them) saddling, bridling, going over obstacles, loading etc. he has been doing great!
I have put a small handful of rides on him this week, walking and working on basics.

I will warn that this horse WILL buck like a bronc when you first saddle and lunge. Even back at his best when we were showing- he would do this and then be totally level headed and fine during the rides.

I am selling him as a project. He needs work. He needs refreshed and finished. He needs someone who has the time and ability to do so.
My life has changed so I need to downsize and unfortunately this guy is one on the list. I just don’t have the time he deserves and I feel like he is being wasted here.

Come check him out! Don’t see Curlies come up often! Price is negotiable!
