Some horses are made for the arena… Others are made for the journey… Shiloh is the kind of horse that makes every mile memorable. Shiloh is a striking buckskin Draft Cross gelding with the size, strength, and dependable mindset everyone is looking for. With a heavy bone, stocky build on a 15.2h frame this 8 year old gelding is built for the long haul! He’s the horse you can saddle up with confidence, whether you’re heading down a quiet wooded trail or riding deep into the backcountry after big game.... (read more) He’s spent countless hours exploring trails of every kind and has been used around the ranch, where a good horse isn’t just appreciated—it’s required. From opening gates and checking cattle to putting in a full day’s work, Shiloh is the same honest partner every time you throw a leg over him. When hunting season rolls around, Shiloh really shines. He has made yearly week-long big game hunting trips out West, packing riders through rugged mountain country with the sure-footedness, stamina, and level-headed attitude you want when you’re miles from the trailhead. He has not only carried riders he has also wore the pack saddle and carried out trophy kills from the mountains. Steep climbs, rocky terrain, creek crossings, deadfall, wildlife, and long days in the saddle are all just another day at the office for him. Shiloh is the kind that rides out alone or with a group, handles new places with confidence, and takes care of his rider. Shiloh is well broke for any level of rider, inside or outside of the arena as he reins around with ease, lopes nice circles, takes his leads and spins around. His Draft Cross build gives him plenty of bone and substance, while his buckskin color guarantees he’ll turn heads everywhere he goes. If you’re looking for a horse that’s proven, dependable, and ready for your next adventure—whether that’s a weekend trail ride, ranch work, or chasing elk and deer in the mountains—Shiloh is ready to punch your ticket. Don’t just buy a horse—buy a partner that’s already proven he can go the distance. Shiloh is ready to help write your next adventure. For more info call our phone number Located in Mt. Vernon, KY.
