Cute Little Mare for Sale

Additional Comments

Sephina is an 8-year-old BLM Mustang mare from the Desatoya HMA. She stands approximately 14 hands and is located in Como, Colorado.
Due to unexpected financial hardship, I've made the difficult decision to offer her for sale. This is not a decision I ever wanted to make, and finding her the right home is my top priority.
Sephina will do best with an experienced, confident rider who understands mustangs and enjoys building a partnership.... (read more) She has bucked with me on one occasion, and I believe it may have been related to saddle fit. I haven't had the opportunity to fully evaluate that, as I've only been able to ride her a handful of times due to work and life circumstances. The other rides were uneventful, and her previous owner never mentioned bucking. Because I can't say with certainty what caused it, I'm representing her honestly.
On the ground, Sephina is incredibly gentle. She's excellent for the farrier, can be handled all over, and has had extensive handling. She loves treats and absolutely melts for poll scratches. Like many mustangs, she can occasionally decide she'd rather not be caught, though treats usually convince her otherwise.
She loves grooming and her last owner bathed her often.
She has a little mare sass and plenty of personality, and I genuinely think the right person will love that about her. She's smart, expressive, and looking for someone who appreciates a horse with a mind of her own.
My priority is finding the right match. If you think you might be the right fit, I'd be happy to answer questions and tell you everything I know about her.
