Here is a CUTE family!
I think this pair is cute as can be and going to be one fancy baby! Mom is a Paso. Baby is a paso/walker cross. Mom is 14 years old and 13.1h (stout!). Baby is around 2 months old (I cant remember what they said) and she's going to be a big girl I do believe! Don't know a thing about the dad, just that he's a walker.
Mom is broke to ride, and she rode through when I bought her by a teenage boy.... (read more) I wouldn't say she's for a kid, but she rode decently, just not super broke. Probably just been turned out having babies if I had to guess. She's gentle to handle. A littler harder to catch, but I feel like most pasos are, and I think more she's probably annoyed from being at the sale and everyone wanting to mess with the baby. She is far from terrible to catch, and not the worst thing I caught today.
We didn't really do much with her besides basic handling and all, but like I said she's overall gentle. I think you could give her a few days to settle and really have a nice mom and a baby that would be easy to spoil! Baby has lots of personality and the cutest zoomies!
I have a soft spot for babies, and I love pasos, so this is a win win for me. I also hate seeing babies pass from sale to sale, so another bonus point.

We buy and sell horses and ponies. There are several of us who work with all the animals and evaluate them, figure out their personalities and quirks, and let's be honest, they all have them. We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
