Lucy is by far the easiest mare to deal with-leave her alone & let her do her thing (make & raise babies). She came off a western TX range, she is 100% self sufficient. She maintains her feet, raises strong, stout babies. She settles on the 1st try every year. Foals on her own with no assistance. She is Homozygous roan, & has only ever thrown 2 solid babies in the 10 years we have been breeding her. She will live cover (hand or pasture) & stands for AI.... (read more) 15.1 hands tall. UTD on healthcare. Lucy is in foal to Mr Canyon Cat-Homozygous Roan Stallion for a 2027 foal. He is an earner of over $30k in barrels & $150k in roping.
Filly on her side will be registered in the coming days. Foaled April 1, 2026. She will likely finish out at 15 hands. She will be a dependable, loyal companion for whoever she ends up with. Her full siblings are versatile & doing everything from barrels, roping & turnback in the cutting pen. She is by our resident stud PJS Easy Money, who has sired multi division performers, including a 2023 AQHA Level 1 Reserve World Champion.
