Meet Kaiju, a 5 year old mustang gelding standing 16 hands tall. He turns heads wherever he goes with his striking blue eyes and cremello color. More than that though he has a wonderful temperament and a sweet personality, and ready to finish your way. Still considered green, but he has had a total of one year of professional training under his belt from gentling all the way to ridden work.
Well mannered and easy to handle, he stands quietly for grooming, vet care, bathing, and clipping.... (read more) We’re still working on the farrier and he would do best with a patient farrier. Good news is he is barefoot, so just routine trims are needed. He also loads and trailers well, and stands tied like a gentleman. He is up to date on vaccinations and farrier work, but does need his teeth done.
Kaiju has been an amazing horse to work with and it breaks my heart to see him go, but I am too anxious to ride a green horse that needs consistency and a more confident rider. He offers no rear or bolt, but has been known to hop into a canter if he’s been off for a while. He is ready to be finished your way, with a potential career in dressage or western pleasure, he would even make a good trail or obstacle horse. He really could go any direction, though he’s pretty lazy, he may not be the best jumper.
