Boomer is a 5-year-old grade paint gelding standing 14.3 hands tall. This Young guy is very low in the pecking order around our herd, so he does have some superficial scabs and missing patches of hair. He has the best ground manners around; he ground ties, stands still for grooming and tacking up, is easy to catch, and picks up all his feet. He loads right up in the trailer, ponies well, and is easy to bathe and blanket. We love how gentle and simple he is on the ground.... (read more) He is a little on the green side under saddle but no funny business; he needs work on his transitions, and we will drop his shoulder and float to the inside at the lope. Boomer rides out alone, will go down the trail or road; he is not spooky or reactive. This young horse has a great foundation to have a solid future with the right owner willing to invest just a little more time with him under saddle. Sound, healthy, with a basic pre-sale exam performed recently; full PPE is welcome at buyer's expense.
