She’s a bay thoroughbred mare. Her name is Trixie, she’s a grade, 15.3hh, 14ish years old, picks up all feet just skittish with her backs but the most she does is move away. Once you get them she’ll relax. Barefoot, loads in the trailer, crosses water on trails, rides English or western. She has seen the barrel pattern just needs some work on it. She has more go than woah, she needs an experienced rider only cause of her being hotheaded when you first get on but she calms down after a while.... (read more) A 12 year old rode her no problem but she’s an experienced barrel racer. She’s not marish at ALL. Very in your pocket, just needs her forever person. She’s had a rough past, was starved with deceased horses in a barn. She is a cribber but if she’s in a field with friends she won’t do it. You can let her sit for weeks and she’ll remember what she learned last time. I’m only rehoming her to a forever home, not somewhere she could be resold and risk being in the same situation. She had poor muscles when I got her and was recommended by someone to get her an EPM treatment and her muscles are recovering beautifully. I’m rehoming only because I never have time for her anymore and I’m unable to keep her in our main pasture anymore due to my family using it to cut for hay. Message for videos and more pictures
