Cash is a 13 year old, black Tennessee Walking Horse gelding. He is bred the very best with multiple world grand champions and hall of fame horses in his bloodline. He is 15.2-15.3 hands tall, currently barefoot as he is just chilling in the pasture but does well barefoot or shod all the way around. He is the biggest lover boy in the world, being loved on is his favorite thing! He is an extremely smooth ride. He gets along with all of the horses he’s ever been pastured with.... (read more) He has been shown, ridden around the farm, trails, parades, road rides, in a wedding, and my husband’s ride when we’d ride with friends a lot a few years ago. He also learned to ride on him as he hadn’t been around horses before he met me! Cash spent time with a professional trainer as a two year old before I bought him, and spent last spring with one as well as I planned to start showing him again but life got in the way lol. I’ve owned him since he was a two year old, so he’s spent basically his entire life with me! So any questions on him, I’ve got the answer haha. That’s why even considering this is so hard!
Over the last ten years, he’s had two surgical veterinary procedures, but he is fully sound and recovered from those. As a three year old, he had an esophageal surgery due to a birth defect that compromised his airflow when he exercised, so we had to have that taken care of so he was able to show and compete. Last year, he had his tendon sheath cleaned/flushed surgically after stepping on a stick and it causing the risk for infection within the tendon. He is fully recovered and sound from this as well.
He is the biggest doll baby, and it makes me so sad to even consider selling him. The only reason I’m considering selling him to the perfect home is that I don’t have time to ride and show as much as I used to, and we are trying to start a breeding program here at the farm so I need to try to thin down on the kiddos that are just pasture ornaments so I can put some more time into getting that program up and going in the way we need it to be. And, when I do have time to ride he isnt my go to, just because he is super laid back and I prefer one with a bit more get up and go so when I do have time to ride, my other boy is my first choice. I just don’t want him to be traded around, if I let him go it has to be to a forever home, with the chance to buy him back if he were to be sold ❤️. I’m asking 5,000 for him, but that’s is negotiable for a perfect forever home.

When ridden consistently, he is extremely laid back, he’d prefer to just walk and chill. Right now, just because I don’t have the time to ride like I used to, he’s only being ridden a few times a year. But, even with minimal rides, when you do get on him again the only thing he does is want to walk on and be moving for a bit. No funny business, he just wants to walk on a bit. It doesn’t take him long to settle by any means.
Let me know if you are interested or have any questions! I can get way more detailed on him haha but thought I’d just hit the high points for now!
