I'm Etta Jones ? is a beautiful 15-year-old chestnut registered mare standing 16 hands tall with fantastic bloodlines (Jazz Man, Skywatch, Pusher, Pride's Generator, & Ladyfame to name a few). With those bloodlines she would make an excellent broodmare. If interested in my stud on sight I would consider offering a free breeding. Etta is broke and has experience in both the show ring and on the trails.... (read more) She has a nice gait and good solid feet. She has plenty of motor and enjoys moving out, making her more "go" than "whoa."
Because of her forward nature, Etta is best suited for an confident handler. She has no buck or rear and is a fun, willing partner for someone looking for a horse that enjoys the job.
Etta is an honest mare, and like any horse, she has a couple of quirks. She can be a little pushy so she does best with someone who will set clear boundaries and handle her confidently. She can also be a little reluctant to load into a trailer.  She just needs a little patience and encouragement. But you can get her loaded.
She is a kind, quality mare with a lot to offer and will make a great partner for the right rider.  I would keep her but I have too many.  But in the meantime ill be using her in my lesson program.
