Offering for sale a super fine looking AQHA registered red roan mare with a lot of potential. My loss is your gain - as I just don’t have the time to work my own projects when I’m this stacked up with work. Marleen has already had extensive groundwork done and is considered “advanced”, has been desensitized to tarps, bags, and other objects of the sort but not dulled, and has had her first 5 successful rides. She is still green so an experienced rider or trainer is a must.... (read more) She had a handful of rides on her as a 2 year old then was put out to pasture. We have been in the process of restarting her since buyer her from the owner who could no longer ride.
Marleen is built like a brick house, with a wide frame and thick bone. She is conformationally correct and would make an excellent team penner, cutter or something of the like. She has a natural “cow sense” and actually cuts our mini donkeys in the pasture like they’re cows, on her own time without a rider!! Videos upon request!
This cowy, extremely athletic horse could go compete in that world or barrel racing, given the time. I’d finish her out but just don’t have the time in my schedule like I thought I’d have when I bought her this past winter.
Looking for a good home for her where she can go excel.
She’s sweet, easy to catch and handle, has good hooves and stands well for the farrier. Stands tied, gets along with other horses, etc. She’d also make an excellent broodmare or recip mare, with her pedigree and stature.
