AQHA 2018 Red Roan Mare – Smart Holidoc Cat

With vet bills piling up, I am forced to make some hard decisions.

“Phoenix” is a stout, beautiful 2018 AQHA red roan mare with an exceptional pedigree loaded with proven cow horse genetics. She was bred by Lazy U Quarter Horses in Nebraska. She is good-minded, wants to please, and (most days) is easy to catch. She’s watchy and a bit untrusting until she warms up to you. She loads and unloads out of a trailer great. She is getting better with her feet (she no longer needs sedation), but she needs a patient farrier.

I was told she had a rough past that has made her edgy, but I do not know the circumstances surrounding it.

She sells as a broodmare only and currently open. I did try to breed her fresh AI this year and she unfortunately had an anovulatory follicle, which is no fault of hers. Otherwise, everything looked perfect.
