Quarter horse Arabian cross mare. Was told she is 13 but I honestly don't know, she could be older. Also not sure on height, guessing between 14 and 15 hands.

Pros: Very calm, gentle, easy to catch, good ground manners, good for farrier.

Cons: Appears to have some heaves. Needs more weight put on.

I bought this mare for my youngest daughter.... (read more) We've saddled her and put a bridle on her and she did fine. My daughter has rode her a little by herself. The mare really is more interested in following you instead of following instructions from her rider. For that reason she may be better suited to a more experienced child for light riding, as tolerable to her, after she's an appropriate weight.

She is towards the bottom when it comes to pecking order. She will let other horses push her around. For this reason I recommend feeding her separately if you have other horses so she'll actually get some of it.

She's a really sweet mare that would make an excellent pasture pet or companion or a light riding horse as mentioned above. She's very affectionate.
