Bay saddlebred gelding. I'm guessing mid to upper teens. Around 15.2 hands

Pros: Easy to catch, good ground manners, good for the farrier, likes attention.

Cons: Cinchy, kicked out once as I was adjusting the girth on the saddle.

He's supposed to be broke to ride and drive. I personally have not ridden him though so I don't know for sure.... (read more) I was told he was too much horse for the wife is why he was being sold. He's gaining weight but still has more to gain. I put the saddle on him to see how he would handle it to give me an idea of how he would act. He wasn't bad (no jumping around or anything) but did kick out once as I adjusted the girth and I didn't proceed with it.

He is very low in the pecking order and will allow almost all of the other horses to push him around. For this reason it is best to separate him to feed him so the others don't take it.

He would make an excellent pasture pet or companion. He has a sweet disposition and is very affectionate.

He could also make a nice riding horse after he gets more weight on him. I honestly don't know. I would recommend an experienced rider at least to test him out when he's ready though.
