Saddlebred gelding. Guessing mid to upper teens. 15.3 hands

Pros: Broke to ride and drive, easy to catch, good ground manners. Very affectionate and attention seeking. Good for the farrier. Easy keeper.

Cons if you can really call it that: He sometimes backs up when you're trying to get him to go forward. I would say it's just a miscommunication but I'm not sure. It's nothing silly or fast or anything but it frustrated my niece (whom I bought him for).... (read more) He is also at the top of the pecking order taking the top spot, sometimes second.

I bought this handsome guy for my middle niece who is now pregnant and planning to move to another state this fall. She wanted a black horse instead of sorrel so she immediately wasn't thrilled with him. She's saddled him and rode him herself (even with the bridle on backwards somehow) and he's been a perfect gentleman. He did back up when she was trying to get him to go forward but as previously mentioned it could have just been miscommunication. That's the worst he's ever done was back up instead of go forward.

He annoys me sometimes by bossing the other horses around. It's nothing abnormal or anything, it's just irritating to me is all.

He's got tons of energy and stamina. Lots of potential for anything you wish for with this guy.
