Sir Ivan the Great is a versatile gelding looking for his next partner. Since 2021, he has been owned and loved by the same youth rider, serving as a successful jumper, occasional trail mount, pony club mount, and best friend.
Ivan has been in a consistent training program throughout his ownership and has most recently competed on the local hunter/jumper circuit in the 2’6” jumpers.... (read more) He is happiest with a rider who enjoys a responsive horse with soft hands and a confident seat.
Ivan is a forward-thinking mount and is best suited for an intermediate-to-advanced youth working with a trainer or an experienced adult. He has trail riding experience with other horses, although he has not been used extensively for solo trail riding.
A true low-maintenance horse, Ivan has never been injected and has remained sound with routine chiropractic care and MagnaWave treatments. He is barefoot with exceptional feet, an easy keeper, and a low shedder. He is always current on vaccinations, dental care, Coggins, farrier, and deworming.
He clips, loads, stands quietly for the farrier, and has excellent ground manners.
Ivan has been an invaluable partner and beloved member of our family. He has taken wonderful care of his young rider, and we are committed to finding a home where he will continue to be loved, appreciated, and enjoyed. He is offered only because his youth rider’s goals have changed.
