Jane’s Hope

2019 15.3h Thoroughbred Mare

Jane is such a cool horse, she’s one who quickly became a barn favorite.

Very willing under saddle, she has SO much heart. She is ready to go in any direction but I feel she would excel in low level eventing or jumpers. She doesn’t mind the slow pace of a trail ride and she’s brave, but she has also taken to jumping the few times we have put her over fences!... (read more) Not afraid of dogs either, might make a great fox hunter, she always loved to train in the fields.

This would be the perfect match for someone who just wants to ride, and wants a horse who is just as eager to do anything.

She loads and hauls like a dream, we have used her as a hauling companion for nervous shippers. Good for grooming, bathing, farrier. Have never clipped her so don’t know what she’s like for clipping. Currently on overnight turnout, gets along well with others in a herd. Shod in the front.

Only known injury is a bow on the front left, it was rehabbed and she successfully came back into work. No vices, isn’t one to rear, buck, bolt, spin, or pull any nasty tricks under saddle. Not a spooky horse (but still a horse). She is very expressive on the longe line, to her that’s playtime. Best suited for an intermediate or advanced rider.
