Sadie is a 14-year-old bay roan registered Appendix Quarter Horse mare. Sadie has been there and done that, most recently dressage. She enjoys trail riding and she has done well in local open shows, particularly in showmanship and model classes. Under saddle she is sensitive to seat aids and requires a quiet hand. She has jumped with previous owners but requires a quiet and confident rider over fences. She would most enjoy a job with a mix of light ring work, hacking/trail riding, and small jumps.... (read more) She is best suited to an intermediate rider or an advanced beginner working consistently with a trainer. No buck, rear or bolt, no dirty trick, she just requires clear communication. She loads and ships well, stands well for the vet and farrier, has excellent ground manners, and keeps a tidy stall.
Sadie currently requires daily Equioxx and Regumate. She is ulcer-prone but currently ulcer-free, and she has a history of heaves in dusty environments. She is shod in front. She had her hocks injected in spring 2026. Recent x-rays on file.
