Barn Name: Joseph

Joseph is an exceptional 2-year-old registered Oldenburg gelding with a bright future ahead of him. Currently standing over 16 hands and still growing, he is expected to mature around 17–17.1 hands. Both his sire and dam stand 16.2 hands, and his string test indicates he will surpass them. He is a substantial horse with plenty of bone, size, and presence.

Joseph is sired by Orbetello, an elite Oldenburg stallion approved by GOV, AHS, and ARS, and awarded BWP Elite Stallion status.... (read more) Orbetello successfully competed at the FEI Grand Prix 1.60m level, and Joseph has clearly inherited his athleticism, quality, and exceptional movement.

In addition to his outstanding pedigree, Joseph has a kind, quiet temperament and genuinely wants to please. He is halter broke, stands quietly for grooming, picks up all four feet, is good for the farrier and veterinarian, and trailers well.

Joseph recently had his first ride under saddle with the incredible Lou Stewart as part of a colt-starting demonstration. This event took place in front of hundreds of spectators and was his first trip away from the farm since being gelded. He handled the entire experience with remarkable confidence and maturity, showing poise well beyond his years.

This handsome young gelding is destined for great things and would make an exciting prospect for someone looking for a quality sport horse.
