All-Around / HUS Prospect
“Rocky” is a 2023 AQHA/APHA double-registered gelding standing 16hh, available in Hackettstown, NJ.
By multiple World Champion sire Bank on the Best and out of Good Time to Tiger, Rocky is a flashy liver chestnut with four white legs and plenty of presence.

His show career began with a 2024 NSBA Open Yearling Long Line Championship. After a slow, correct start under saddle and a winter to mature, he debuted this spring with wins in both Hunter Under Saddle and Ranch classes. He followed up at his next show with the same top results, proving both his versatility and mature mindset.
Rocky is a true all-around prospect, with exceptional potential for the HUS. He is soft in the bridle, responsive to seat and leg, and eager to learn. You will genuinely forget that you’re sitting on a 3yo- He has a balanced W/T/L, stops off your seat, stays quiet & mindful over poles, backs softly, has a lovely extension, and well-schooled simple changes. He lopes off from the walk, moves off your leg, turns on the haunches, and has the foundation to step right into the show pen!
Rocky loves attention and people. Like many young geldings he can occasionally be mouthy, though this continues to improve significantly with training. Due to his young age, he is best suited for an experienced partner at this time, but is an expected to be suitable for most riders when finished.
Shod up front only, no maintenance
(Owners want him moved to open a stall up for weanlings in a few months, so there is some wiggle room to the perfect home!)
