My husband is turning 80 this year and can't keep up with his wonderful trail horse. Merle is approximately 17. We got him in 2021 and he has been a fantastic trail horse since. He has a smooth gate, confident and loving personality, and is great with other horses. He is an easy keeper and does fine on free choice hay in the winter and a grassy field in the summer.

My husband is riding very little at this point and the rest of the family rides hunters.
