This guy is very sweet and very quiet. He's a registered '09 App gelding. 14h.
To weed out anyone not interested and unrealistic.. he needs slight maintenance. He,(per the old owners) needs a little help with slight heaves on dry/dusty days. It is SLIGHT, and truly one of the least severe cases I've seen.. but it's there. They said when it's dusty if you put him on one scoop of Heave Ho, some Benadryl or Dex he's fine.... (read more) It's slight, but most people are unrealistic and think some horses aren't worth maintenance. Truly a lot of the people I sell horses to probably wouldn't have even noticed if they seen him. So to weed anyone out.. that's the issue. I've sold horses with heaves MUCH more severe than he has that get rode weekly and extensively on trails. With a little help, you can have a very good and quiet gelding. AND let's be real... Eventually all horses need SOMETHING.. big or small.
With that being said, if anyone is still interested... He is VERY quiet. He is very easy going and laid back. A much more woah than go type. He will WTC. A lady after I bought him came and told me she owned him before and used him extensively for lessons with the small kids and he would take a small jump. She also said he was fine for multiple lessons a day even in the Georgia heat. She said she trusted him for all the little riders. The only thing he does is might lean to a gate or the barn. I don't know many horses, lesson or not.. that doesn't do that. He has a slight neck rein, but not fancy. He's very honest and I truly think anyone could get along with him.
Great to catch. Handles the best. Good with his feet. Trailers well. Just a simple and easy going dude. Nothing complicated and again, I really think anyone should get along with him. He was excellent in the woods, no spook, he just goes where you point him and goes about his day. Could use a little topline but not terrible!
He's just a good dude so PLEASE do not pick him apart.

We buy and sell horses and ponies.
There are several of us who work with all the animals and evaluate them, figure out their personalities and quirks, and let's be honest, they all have them.
We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us."
If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
