If you’re looking for a stout, been-there, done-that type of trail horse, “Ice” is your guy. Ice stands a wide 15 hands tall and is 16 years old. He stays barefoot and is 100% sound - no heaves, fancy supplements, or abnormal health maintenance other than routine hay and grain. He’s one that will go exactly where you put him on any terrain, and maintains a steady pace the entire way. Ice has a great handle and will walk, trot, and lope when asked.... (read more) He moves off leg pressure, neck reins well, backs, etc. He is a push-style ride and doesn’t have any runaway in him. If you are needing a barrel horse, Ice is probably not the one. He has been hauled to many national forests, arenas, and ridden down highways. We thought about selling this guy a couple years ago, decided to keep him as an extra trail horse for friends, and now my own health is forcing me to let go of anything extra that is left at the barn. If you are needing a middle-aged guy with a solid build, here he is! Located in Baker, Louisiana and priced to sell at $1,700.
