Rachel is a super sweet thoroughbred who was helping train other horses, she's four years old, but because she has one dropped pastern when she walks, they decided not to use her anymore. So she's broke to ride, she just needs a light rider because of that hind pastern and probably a support boot could help. She is at Sage Brooke sanctuary in Lenoir city Tennessee because anything animal foundation was able to rescue her from a feed lot!... (read more) She is there enjoying life and learning how to just be a horse, finishing her quarantine and she'll be ready for her person because of the work she was in. We do believe that she has previously been vaccinated multiple times, and she is healthy. We suggest intermediate or Experienced Rider because of her breed and the fact that she is a thoroughbred who was working on the track, although she was never raced. We are asking the sanctuary for more pictures and a video.! please feel free to try to make an appointment to go out and see her at the sanctuary, that will probably tell you more than what I can about her!
