Ima Impressive Zipper “Rooster”
*Why is his barn name Rooster you ask? He is NOT fond of roosters. I’m convinced he has chicken trauma.
• APHA Registered
•Out of Twice A Zipper (Sire) and Just an Angel (Dam)
• Current on Coggins, float, FEC/dewormer, and vaccines with recent x-rays
•Minimal veterinary maintenance; that’s the catch-he has a club hoof. Does best barefoot at this time.... (read more)
•Loads, hauls, and crossties well. Stands patiently for vet and farrier, dentals without sedation.
• Stalled for eight to ten hours at a time with ample pasture; has been on 24/7 turnout previously. Does fine with either, the change was strictly due to facility’s care and routine.
•An easy keeper- has not received more than one and a half pounds of grain total daily (not limited on forage) with a consistent workload.
•Has been pastured and done great with both mares and kind geldings! Can get anxious while out with bullies long term (understandably).
•More of a kick ride in the arena, can take a joke.
•The sweetest “and “derpiest” attitude, in your pocket type. As you can tell by the photos, he isn’t bothered by much.
•Prefers to take the lead on the trail
• Lunges like a pro… unless you’re on grass. Distractions do occasionally get the best of us all.
•Want to dabble in jumping? Will quietly bop around a course.
•If you’d like to do so in a “Despicable Me” Minion’s onesie, he will happily participate in the antics (refer to photo evidence).
•Rooster is a wonderful, fun-loving horse looking for his next person. Preferably, one who also has a sense of humor. Most suited for a pleasure rider (without a serious show career/intentions of riding heavily), does great with regular work, has proven to sit for periods of time just fine.
•Asking 9,000 while being very open to offers for a timely sale.
