Dixie - 6-Year-Old Mustang Mare
Halter-broke, groundwork foundation, saddle-touched, not yet ridden

- About Dixie: A true southern belle with the sweetest, most willing personality. Dixie loves people, is naturally curious, and aims to please.
- Training to date: Halter broke and has completed roughly 15 groundwork exercises, including leading, yielding to pressure, stopping on cue, backing, turning, and basic desensitization.... (read more) She’s calm, respectful, and learns quickly with consistent handling. She willingly self loads on the trailer.
- Tack experience: Dixie has worn a saddle several times under light supervision and acclimated to tack easily. She has not yet been ridden with a rider on her back.
- Riding progress: Not yet ridden. Dixie is a wonderful project for someone looking to finish her training with a confident, patient rider or trainer.
- Personality: Absolute sweetheart. Very trainable, brave, and eager to please. A true “people horse” that bonds strongly with her handler.
- Ideal home: A calm, consistent program with a knowledgeable rider who’s excited to finish her under saddle. Dixie would thrive with regular groundwork, sensible riding sessions, and a patient routine.
