2022 Buckskin Gelding

“DJ” as we affectionately call him is a lightly started 4 year old buckskin gelding imported from Canada. This horse has a soft, kind eye and a gentle disposition. He’s been one of the easier colts I have started and has not offered any funny business under saddle.

He will load and haul, enjoys a good hose rinse and stands relaxed when being saddled.... (read more) I recently have transitioned him from a bosal to snaffle and he is taking everything in stride.
He is a proportionately built horse with correct confirmation. He carries himself very well and has smooth gates.

DJ will excel in any direction. His pedigree is outstanding and goes back to some phenomenal cow horses. I feel like he would make a really nice all around horse.

I have not taped him but I’d estimate he’s right around 14.2 hh
Current on teeth float (May 2026) and deworming (June 2026)
