Victoria, 7 years old, is a talented, willing mare with an exceptional disposition and a genuine love for having a job. Professionally started as a three-year-old by Katie and Jackson Laurie—an accomplished team that includes a two-time Olympic jumper and a three-time World Champion reiner—she has been given a thoughtful foundation and has developed into an athletic, kind partner.

Victoria has been schooled from 2’0” through 3’0” and has shown excellent potential.... (read more) She is currently happiest and most established jumping cross rails and 2’0” courses, where she is consistent, confident, and relaxed. As a younger horse, she still has occasional “baby brain” moments and can become a bit more attentive as the fences increase in height, but she continues to gain confidence and experience with regular work.

Standing 17 hands, Victoria is a sweet, affectionate mare with a curious personality and an outstanding temperament. She is always the first to greet you at the gate—often catching you before you catch her. She is easy to handle, simple to bridle and tack up, and has absolutely no girth issues.

Victoria is also a pleasure outside the arena. She is excellent on the trails, hauls quietly, and drinks well while traveling. She has proven dependable in a variety of situations and is easy to have around the barn.

What I love most about Victoria is her combination of athleticism and personality. She is kind-hearted, willing, and genuinely enjoys being with people. She has all the qualities that make a horse enjoyable to own and rewarding to develop.
