She will excel with a quiet rider that has soft hands. Perfect for a youth rider looking to step up. Valkeriwe warms up well, can stand around quietly before her run and when she knows it's her turn to work, she remains manageable and focused. Nothing seems to fave this mare. ​She's exceptionally level-headed, not spooky, and has a bombproof personality that makes her enjoyable both at home and at events. She's easy to catch, leads, loads, lunges, and stands tied without issue.

Valkerie may have some gaited influence, which gives her a smooth way of traveling. This does not affect her ability to perform and has never limited her success as a barrel horse. In fact, it contributes to a comfortable ride whether you're in the arena or out on the trail.
Her maintenance is straightforward: front shoes and a low-starch diet. She's sound, seasoned, and ready to help her next rider gain confidence and have fun.
