17 year old, grade, palomino, QH gelding
14.2 hh 1100lbs

Geronimo:

*easy to catch
*loads in trailer well
*good for the farrier
*good to clip, fly spray, blanket etc
*middle horse in pecking order
*personally find he does best with shoes on and I have him on a hoof supplement

Geronimo has been my personal horse. I mostly trail ride- here on our place, through town and even overnight trail rides at horse camps.... (read more) He is very easy to get along with and continues to be a "steady Eddie" type. He will ride out on his own or with a group and we sometimes have our dogs ride along and he does well with them.

We have had friends come to ride and I have had teens and adults on him and he has done well. Awhile back I bought a gaited gelding and I have been riding Geronimo less. He is too good to be sitting around. I am not in a hurry to sell and really looking for a good home for Geronimo. Looking for the right fit.

I have rated him a 3/10 because he is not a dead head and I would not call him a babysitter. When I have guests ride him I take care to make sure they are calm and relaxed. We are pretty relaxed people and do not "cowboy" our horses.
