"Buck" is a 2016 AQHA dun gelding bred by the renowned Pitz Quarter Horses program in South Dakota. This is the kind of horse that is getting harder and harder to find. He was owned by the same family for nine years, from the time he was a weanling until I purchased him. He wasn't passed around, traded through dealers, or bounced from trainer to trainer. His pedigree is stacked with the proven Dont Doc 108 bloodlines that have built generations of ranch and cow horses known for their durability, cow sense, trainability, and longevity. As a young horse, he was put into a professional reined cow horse program where he received an exceptional foundation. Once his training was established, he came home and spent the next several years being maintained, shown, and enjoyed by his owners. Physically, he is absolutely stunning. His primitive dun markings are some of the strongest I've ever seen. Bold wither barring, a dark dorsal stripe, and enough color to catch attention anywhere he goes. Combine that with his balanced build, good bone, and athletic frame, and you've got a horse that's as attractive as he is useful.
