Duke is an absolutely gorgeous 6-year-old, 17.2hh dappled bay roan Brabant X gelding with the looks, brains, and temperament everyone searches long and hard for. This perfectly built boy rides and drives, has a willing attitude, and is as friendly as they come. Safe for beginners yet talented enough to go in any direction!

Under saddle he will w/t/c, but is a little more whoa than go. He has been introduced to ring work along with going over a jump, but since he is only 6, he will need finishing.... (read more) He picks up on things extremely quickly and always gives 110%. Duke will carry the flag, tarp, ride into traffic, ride out alone, & isn't fazed by crowds or wildlife. He has been great to haul out and take on trail rides.

Duke is the kind that meets you at the gate, adores attention, and is always ready to learn and please with a kind, steady demeanor. Big, flashy, and eye-catching with loads of potential! Put a little time on him and he will be ready for fox hunting season! (He could do 3rd flight tomorrow in all honesty). He is a lovely mover and would excel in english pleasure, fun shows, carriage rides and events, dressage, and mounted patrol to name a few. He does everything a well behaved horse should do. Duke drives single or double and is traffic safe. He is dog gentle, an easy keeper, a joy to be around, and you won't find many with his looks and personality! ?
