Snickers has been used as a ranch horse moving cattle and has spent countless hours out on the trails. He is confident riding out alone and is equally happy going along in a group. From peaceful evening rides to all day trail rides and camping trips, he takes everything in stride and enjoys having a job to do. While he is capable in the arena and will ride around with a nice one hand neck rein, smooth pivots, and a big stop, his true happy place is out on the trail.
He also has a naturally nice collection and forward stride that could make him a lovely walk-trot English prospect for someone wanting a versatile partner.
Snickers is a smart and responsive horse with soft, sensitive cues, riding nicely off leg pressure and body weight. Because of this, he would be best suited for an intermediate rider or above who will appreciate his responsiveness and willing nature.
On the ground, Snickers is easy to enjoy. He stands tied quietly, trailers well, bathes, tacks up nicely, and is good for both the vet and farrier. More than anything, Snickers is looking for someone to call his own — a kind person to build a partnership with and become their best friend.
