"Go outside and see the ponies!?!?" Oh, the fun we have had with Carrots! He is the sweetest gelding personality! He is trusted on the ground with our daughter, Sarah, who is now two years old and, thanks to the ponies, knows everything and is terrifyingly confident around the ponies and horses! She has been led for hours every day on Carrots and he never misses a beat! He loves the kids! Carrots with walk, trot and lope both ways with the bigger kids and pulls a cart well!... (read more) Ben is 9 years old and loves to ride Carrots inside and outside the arena! Sarah loves to go in his pen and brush him by herself, she cuddles and kisses all over him! He lets her pet, brush, pull, poke and climb all over him. Carrots is one of the best mannered ponies you will come across. He is soft on the halter and soft in his mouth. They catch him, lead him, tack him up, ride, mount/dismount, load in the trailer, groom, pick feet, and even hook up the cart all on their own! He is an absolute doll and a joy to have around. Carrots has been a part of a small successful children's lesson program and has been ridden out on the trail by young children. He is sure to make Lifetime Memories for everyone Young and Old!
