(read more) At just 8 years old and standing 13 hands tall, don't let her size fool you—she's got a heart of gold and can do everything a big mule can. Chica is safe for absolutely everyone, from kids to even grandma and grandpa, so you can ride her with peace of mind! She’s one of the nicest mules I’ve ever seen, and with her great attitude, you don’t need to be a mule person to enjoy her. She would be perfect for a first-time mule owner as well. This little lady is extremely well broke and has a fancy handle on her. She’s one-handed broke with a fantastic neck rein, and she’ll walk, trot, and lope perfect circles, always picking up the correct leads and stopping on a dime. Chica would make an exceptional little mule to take to the show pen—she’s just that broke and that cool! Need to open or close gates? No problem—she’ll side pass right over to them. You can even ride her with just a piece of leather around her neck! Chica is used to it all: carrying flags, crossing tarps, and she’s even comfortable shooting guns off her back. We have heeled steers on her in the roping pen, and she stands in the box without a hitch. Chica was used all last summer by the kids being a ranch mule. When it comes to trail riding, Chica is a blast! She’s been ridden on miles and miles of trails and will gladly go wherever you point her. She crosses water, logs, and hills with ease and has been ridden down busy streets and highways. I haven’t met a better mule than sweet Chica! She’s great with kids and will happily pack them wherever they want to go. Chica fits absolutely any level of rider, and everyone who hops on her has a blast. I just know her new owners are going to love her as much as we do! Chica is great with clippers, loads and unloads easily off the trailer, and is a breeze to saddle and bridle. She stands wonderfully for the farrier, is great for baths, and even stands in cross ties. Plus, she’s an easy keeper and currently barefoot. Requires absolutely no maintenance.
