Beautiful Red roan Grade quarter horse gelding- aged around 13 years old. This horse is insanely reliable under saddle, he will do anything and everything asked of him. He will chug on down the road, he will go down the trails, alone or with friends or with four wheelers, legit whatever you want. Weather doesn’t matter and the first horse I’ve seen unbothered by the wind. Very much a ranch horse through and through and super willing and ready to go to work for you.... (read more) He is such a good boy and a solid little horse. Was said to be used as a pick up horse at one point in his life, and I believe it because nothing bothers this guy as we put him through a lot of crap lol. He is actually more whoa than go in the saddle, but will easily move along if you want him to into a trot or lope. He does whatever is asked of him, I’m not kidding. This guy under saddle I can’t re- iterate how solid he is. He will take a beginner or anyone under saddle. He just moves along and does what he is told. Does not have any bad habits, does not spook, won’t pull you back to the barn, not buddy sour. He side passes, neck reins, you can slide off his bum, he could care less. Used to four wheelers and dogs, he has had a four wheeler peel out right next to him and he won’t move a muscle in the wrong way. I’ve never once seen this horse spook or get worked up over anything (other than his impatience on the ground a little lol) He will come meet you at the gate, he is rather snuggly for a quarter horse. Has great manners with hay and grain.

On the ground: gets a little impatient for tacking and grooming to get to work, but nothing crazy at all- just does some head tossing at times as he gets excited , nothing bad just wouldn’t call him an absolute saint with it. I’d honestly rate him a 7/10 on the ground, he will take bit and saddle very easily and you can pull the girth until kingdom come and he could care less. You can groom him in paddock and he stands perfectly still untied and falls asleep while enjoying it. Lifts feet, barefoot all around- was shod up until recently for work. Has been a little tender transitioning over. On a rare occasion he will kick out his foot when he is done holding it up. NOT at you, just kicks it back to put it down. He is not a mean horse whatsoever. Very easy to get along with everyone in the paddock, he is very low on the pecking order, does not crib or cause any issues. He is right around 14.3-15hh.
